Dear Dwyer Families,

Another week comes to an end here at Dwyer, and with it the end of the first quarter!

Milestones like this in a school year are always a time for me to pause and reflect on what has been accomplished and learned along the way.  I want to thank you all for your continued partnership as we aim to become “Better Each Day.”

  

As we move into the second quarter and as the holidays quickly approach, please continue to partner with us to help your student(s) grow, learn, and thrive!  Two very practical ways to do this: 1. Review Canvas with your student to help them stay on top of their work, projects, and assignments.  2. Please try to limit absences for your student only if they are sick.

Remember that next Wednesday (11/11) is Veteran’s Day and to honor those who have served in our armed forces there will be no school that day.  I would also like to take a moment here and give a special “Thank you” to those who are reading this who have served in our armed forces for your service, I am grateful to you all!

Congratulations to all our October GRIT band recipients, including Eli F! Eli received a Responsibility GRIT band from Mrs. DelCrognale and two Integrity bands from Mrs. Voorhees and Mr. Priebe. Lastly, Congratulations to Mrs. Moran for winning the PBIS/GRIT Team staff raffle for October!
