Thank you for making our Back to School Night such a success! Seeing our hallways and classrooms filled with your energy, support, and enthusiasm was incredible.

Our school’s success relies on a strong partnership between home and school, and your presence proved once again what a dedicated community we have. As we move forward into the school year, we look forward to working side-by-side with you to support our students' growth, learning, and well-being.

Together, let's keep our shared goal at the heart of everything we do as we strive to be "Better Each Day."

This year, Dwyer ASB and Yearbook partnered with Sowers Middle School for a specialized leadership training through ENVOLVE. ENVOLVE starts with an action-packed training for our school’s entire student leadership program! This exciting and engaging workshop helps leaders create

new and engaging activities specifically for the 2026-2027 school year.

ONGOING SPECIAL EVENTS: Student leaders are at their best when they collaborate with like-minded peers. After their training, our leaders can attend official ENVOLVE Virtual Meetups! These five events focus on leadership growth and activity creation. Best of all, they feature schools from across the continent.

On Monday 9/28, there will be a fun lunchtime chalk activity with Robyne’s Nest!  Students will use chalk to write or draw their responses to the question: "What can I do at Dwyer to be better each day?" They'll share ideas about being kind to each other, helping someone in need, listening more, practicing gratitude or any positive action that makes our school community stronger. It's a wonderful opportunity for your student to express themselves creatively while reflecting on personal growth.

Please don't hesitate to reach out if you have questions or concerns throughout the year. I am here to support your child with their social-emotional and academic success.

If your student is interested in participating in Surf Club, please come to an IMPORTANT Informational Meeting in Mr. Agriesti's Room (#220) on 220 on Thursday, 10/18 before school at 8:00am.  Parents are welcome!

Surf Club meets on Wednesday mornings from 6:30-7:30am on 17th St.
