Second Semester Bus Application

The Huntington Beach City School District Transportation Department offers student transportation to and from school. Bus passes are available for purchase or at no cost for eligible students.
Second Semester Bus Pass Cost:
$254.00 per semester (includes processing fee)

Accepted Payment Methods:
Cashier’s Check, Money Order, Personal Check, or Cash

Students may qualify for free bus passes and fee waivers if they meet one of the following criteria:

  • Low Income (Free or Reduced Lunch eligible)
    • School Funding Form required: English
    • If you already applied for free and reduced-price lunch and were approved for the first semester, you do not need to reapply, but you must attach an eligibility letter.
    • English Learner
  • Foster Youth
  • McKinney-Vento
Please submit your second-semester bus pass application online using the following links:Payments are accepted in person at the District Office, Monday through Friday, from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Bus pass fees cover only a portion of the total cost of transportation. Pursuant to Education Code Section 39809.5, districts may charge no more than the difference between transportation income and
expenses.

District approval of the online application and submission of all applicable fees will ensure your child has District-provided transportation beginning the first day of the second semester. Applications received after the semester start date will incur a $30.00 late fee.
