Dwyer Middle School

The Academy for the Performing Arts Junior (APA Jr.) at Dwyer Middle School provides comprehensive offerings in acting, dance, instrumental (band & orchestra), vocal (concert choirs & show choirs), and musical theatre performances. In addition, we offer technical theatre, stage design, and costume design courses. We house an award winning chorale program with 5 choirs, including our travel choir: Dwyer Chorale. Our classes allow students to realize their fullest potential while interacting with peers who share their passion for the Arts. Involvement in our programs not only increases self-esteem but often raises the level of academic achievement and instills a lifelong appreciation for the Arts not only as a craft but as a process.
